A window will display the metadata information available to be edited. Users can change approval status, descriptions, keywords, tags, expiration dates, and additional information. Learn how to adjust the displayed bulk editing fields.
Please note:
Some fields, such as custom fields, will allow you to bulk edit the contained metadata in two ways. To ensure that your assets are updated as you intend, you must choose the correct method.
-
Add
This method allows you to add new metadata to an asset, and is active by default. 'Add' should be used on empty or multi-choice fields, and will not replace the data assigned to single-choice fields.
-
Overwrite
This method allows you to replace the metadata of an asset. 'Overwrite' can be used on any type of field, and will fully replace the data assigned.
To apply your changes to all selected files, click Apply.
