Back in Figma, click "Continue" once to finalize the connection.

Manage assets
The Canto Figma Connector offers you a quick and easy way to access your assets directly from within Figma.
Find assets
You can use either the Global Search bar ① or the folder tree ② to navigate through your library and find the assets you want to add to your draft.
|
Please note: Only assets with file formats supported by Figma – such as .PNG, .JPEG, .HEIC, .GIF and .WEBP – will be visible in the Figma Canto Connector. |
Insert assets
Once you have found the asset you want, hover your cursor over the thumbnail to reveal the insert options.
Click to insert the asset directly.
Click to insert a link to the asset.
Upload assets
In your draft, select one or more frames, then open the Canto Figma Connector and select "Upload".
From the list, select the frame you want to upload and click "Continue".
|
Please note: While you may select multiple frames, only one frame at a time can be uploaded. |
Select whether you want to upload the frame as a new asset, or as a new version of an existing asset.
Use the folder tree to select the album you want to add the asset to, then click "Continue".
Enter a name for the new asset – the title of the frame will be entered by default – and click "Continue".
Your new asset will now be uploaded. Once the upload has completed you can either upload more assets by clicking "Upload More", or finish uploading content by clicking "Done".
Use the Global Search bar or folder tree to find the current version of the asset in your library.
Hover your cursor over the asset's thumbnail and click the checkbox to select it, then click "Continue".
While you are given the option to change the name of the asset, you should leave it set to the current name of the asset in your library. If you choose to change the name, the asset will be uploaded as a new asset instead of a new asset version. Next, click "Continue".
The new version of your asset will now be uploaded. Once the upload has completed you can either upload more assets by clicking "Upload More", or finish uploading content by clicking "Done".
Settings
