Brand Studio Templates are a powerful tool for both designers and non-designers. Both reusable and customizable, they ensure that all changes made are consistent with your project's branding guidelines.

Please note: This article is intended for Template Users. For guidance on how to design a template as a Template Designer, please visit the article "How to: Brand Studio for Template Designers" For the best experience, please use a Chromium based browser while working with Brand Studio. |
Manage templates
For a steps on how to find and edit existing templates, please see the article "How to: Access Brand Studio".
If you have the required privileges – please see the article "User privilege index" for more details – you can assign them to Albums and Folders, share them via Portals and Share Links, edit their metadata, and even delete them.
When shared, Brand Studio Templates can still be customized, allowing you to easily distribute designs to third parties without having to worry about brand compliance.

Please note: The "Edit" function of Brand Studio Templates is only available when shared via a Structured Share Link, public Portal, or private Portal. Templates shared through a Selective Share Link cannot be edited. |
Customize a template
Brand Studio Templates are intended to offer the Template User the option to customize the template to their needs. Each template is unique, and there are no pre-set options that are always available. Instead, the Template Designer chooses what to include while they design the template. If an option you are looking for is not available, please contact the Template Designer.
For Template Users the Brand Studio interface consists of the following three sections.
- ① The Canvas, where the template will be displayed.
- ② The Action Bar, providing general tools for interacting with the template.
- ③ The Side Bar, which allows you to customize the template.
Action Bar
The Action Bar has the following tools available.
Undo and Redo
Click the and
buttons to undo or redo your last action.
Zoom
Click the and
buttons to decrease and increase the zoom.
Save Session
Click this button to save the current customization of the template, allowing you to return and continue at a later stage. This is fully independent of the default template and will not affect the version in the library.
Download
Click this button to download a copy of the template with all current customizations. Depending on the choices of the Template Designer, you may be able to select the file format of the download.
Reset Template
Instead of manually returning every customization option to its original state, you can click this button to return the entire template to the default set by the Template Designer.
Side Bar
Customizing the template is as easy as clicking a button and selecting an alternative setting, and the different options are grouped into two sections.
Layouts
Contains all available layout options, generally only changing the way the template's content is laid out. You may also be able to find additional customization here, such as setting your own sizing.
Customize
This section will contain options that allow you to adjust aspects of the template besides its size and the placement of elements. These changes can be as simple as altering an asset's color or as complex as modifying an animation's flow. As all changes you make here are only for your personal session, do not hesitate to experiment and try out different combinations to get exactly the look you need.
Customization options with an "*" next to their name are mandatory, and an option must be selected.
