How to: Manage Product Variants

  • Updated

    ~ minute read

Variants organize different configurations within a single "parent" product, where each configuration has a different SKU.

Variant Dimensions define the options by which you may configure the variants, i.e., a cotton t-shirt might have variants based on two dimensions: size and color.

There should now be a Variants tab for that product. Additionally, you can assign the primary and otherwise attributes that have variations for that product.

Adding and Editing Product Variant Information

You can input variant data within the Variants tab for a product, including related images, descriptions, and SKU data, by selecting the Edit button within the Product's Variant tab of the Product View.

There is a dropdown menu displaying each variant's information, which is editable by clicking the Edit button.
