Product Views act as visibility filters, controlling which Groups and Attributes are shown on a Product page or in a Shared Catalog.
Views work in combination with Product Types. A Type determines which Attributes a product can have. A View determines which of those Attributes are shown. An Attribute is only visible when it is part of the product's Type and enabled in the active View. If either condition isn't met, the Attribute is hidden.

Create a new View
Click on "Admin" in the top right corner, then select "Product Settings" > "Views".
Click the "Add View" button in the top right.
Give the new View a name. This name must be unique and cannot already be in use.
Groups are listed with their individual Attributes expanded underneath. Use the toggles to show or hide each Attribute independently. Only Attributes set to visible will appear when this View is active. If you have a large number of groups, use the filter at the top of the section to find specific ones.
Click "Add View" to save.
|
Please note: If the intersection of a View and a product's Type leaves a Group with no visible Attributes, that Group will not appear on the Product page at all. |
Manage existing Views
Edit a View
Open Admin > Product Settings > Views. Find the View in the list, or use the search bar in the top right.
Click the View to open its detail page, then click "Edit".
Adjust the Attribute toggles as needed, then click "Save" to apply your changes.
|
Please note: All Attributes in any Groups already included in a View will default to visible. To restrict individual Attributes, edit the View and toggle them off explicitly. |
Delete a View
Open Admin > Product Settings > Views. Find the View you want to remove and click it to open its detail page.
Click "Delete" and confirm your choice. Deleted Views cannot be recovered.
Using Views on a Product page
The active View can be selected on a Product's Product Details page, within the Product Type Details section.
When "All" is selected (the default), all Attributes that are part of the product's Type are visible. Selecting a specific View applies its Attribute-level visibility rules.
The same logic applies to Shared Catalogs and Shared Product pages — if an Attribute isn't enabled in the active View or isn't part of the product's Type, it will not appear for external recipients either.
|
Please note: If a product has no Type assigned, any selected View is disregarded. Only the General Group will display, along with a message indicating that no Type has been assigned. Attribute-level View control does not currently apply to Catalog Exports. |
