How to: Manage Product Categories

Product Categories are an organizational tool within the Product Hub, allowing you to group Products independent of their Type.

Please note:

The actions described in this article require Administrator privileges, and are unavailable on Consumer and Contributor profiles.


Create a new Category

Click on "Products" in the top right corner, then select "Product Info".

Click on "Add Category" in the bottom left. Next, enter a name and select the level at which it will be created. Once you are done, click "Add Category" in the top right.

Manage an existing Category

All Categories can be adjusted via their context menu. From the Category view, hover over the Category you want to manage, then click the Options-icon that appears on the right and select an option from the menu.

Change a Category's level

Select "Move" from the context menu, select the new placement for your Category, and click "Save".

Add a sub-Category

Select "Add Category" from the context menu. This opens the "Create a new Category" page, but the top-level Category is pre-set. Choose a name and click "Add Category" in the top right.

Rename a Category

Select "Rename" from the context menu, enter the new name, and click "Save".

Delete a Category

Select "Delete" from the context menu, then click the "OK" button on the confirmation dialog.
